Guys. I will not
often talk about politics here. In fact I think
this is the first time. OK. The comic: this is not a dis on McCain,
this is more a WTF? from me upon very randomly receiving this text
message. because it's friggin ridiculous.
A few things: I don't know
who I can vote for in
the upcoming election. I have gotten used to knowing that NO ONE will
EVAR represent me. I feel bad for anyone who feels that they are truly
represented by any elected official, because I have the sinking
sensation that that person is made entirely of bullshit, snake oil, and
lots of teeth. Parse that.
I think I may be a
libertarian? I'm thining that
because I care about shit, but all my opinions are basically fucked in
the American political environment, plus LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE, and
also a lot of people think I'm crazy.
I believe heavily in a
strong military, abortion
rights, school funding, gun ownership, gay marriage, hands-off
government, and protecting the environment. Please, tell me the
candidate that represents me. I fucking dare you.
Also, I was talking about
the upcoming election
with Randy the other day and he pointed out that if McCain won, he
might die in office. And I pointed out that if Obama won, he also might
die in office. We both laughed about these choices, because we are
terrible people. But seriously, it's a possibility. I don't know what
to do.
I'm sure right now you're
saying, "you don't know what to do? RLY? OMG! OBMA IS TEH BLAKXORS!!!!"
I
know you're not saying that, but I've had that line in my head for the
last hour and it has made me laugh out loud THREE TIMES. Guys. Fuck
this. It'd be cool if a black dude rocked the white house, but I don't
give shit one about color. I just figure I'm going to get screwed any
way things work out, you know? I have zero faith in our country.
And at least it won't be a
