Man, illegally
downloading stuff is the BEST. You don't have to
pay for ANY of it! It's like stealing, but easier and you don't even
have to feel guilty about it at all. AWESOME.
It was a quiet weekend for
me, it was nice. Got
out a bit, but mostly relaxing. I have some new recommendations for
everybody...
First,
if you enjoy your movies full of crazy Japanese people whose bodies
contain a few gallons of highly pressurized blood, then I HIGHLY
recommend you watch
The Machine Girl
. This movie is vitally important to
the state
of cinema as we know it. Do yourself a favor and join the future of
film.
Sticking with the crazy
Japanese theme, I recommend the anime
Paprika
.
It's
really excellent and totally insane. It's by the guy who did
Perfect
Blue
and
Paranoia
Agent
,
so
if you've seen those, you know the kind of unsettling mania I'm talking
about. Really good stuff.
And finally, in music- I
just checked out this band
called the
Crystal
Castles
. It's crazy
screechy electronica(? maybe),
with all screwed up vocals and, man I don't even know. It was a mess,
and I loved it instantly.
