Yeah so, those "abbreviations" as it were, usually tell me all I need to know. What I AM curious about however, is why indie rockers fell that it's ok to use "yr" instead of "your". I think the first time I came across it was Godspeed You! Black Emperor's cd called "Lift Yr Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven" (that's a whole bunch of words that look ridiculous put together), but since then, I know I've seen it in quite a few other places.

Ok, well I just glanced through my iTunes, and maybe we have Sonic Youth to blame for it actually, but I also saw a LeTigre song called "Gone B4 Yr Home", so I really don't know what to think.

At any rate.... what the hell indie rock? What's going on.
